Rent arrears can lead to tenant and landlord disputes, and, even in some cases, you could end up losing your home if you fail to pay your arrears. If you are in fact responsible for paying back what you owe, you must get in contact with your landlord as soon as possible and try to make arrangements to pay back your arrears.
